TikTok, the popular short video sharing app, one of the
fastest-growing apps have hit Google Play with a massive down-rating.
In a few days, the popular app has been significantly
reduced from 4.6 to 1.2 stars. There are probably thousands of users who have
given ratings as low as 1 star in the last few days. It seems that the app may
receive an even more negative rating that may end up with an average 1-star
rating.
On the other hand, the TikTok Lite app which is the lite
version of TikTok has become even more of a hit. With the Google Play Store
rating dropping by 1 star, the TikTok app and its lite version are now
considered the lowest-rated apps in the popular app segment.
Why did Ticketok get a heavy down-rating? What is the reason behind this?

The increasing popularity of social media apps like
YouTube and TikTok have given people a great platform to showcase their talent.
There are many people on YouTube as well as TikTok who have received a large
number of views and likes based on their great talent.
However, powerful social media platforms have also led to
cyberbullying and online harassment. Tiktok, owned by a Chinese firm BiteDance,
faces criticism in India due to a social media war between Tiktokar and
YouTubers during a coronavirus epidemic.
The ongoing feud between Aamir Siddiqui, an Indian tik
toker, and an Indian YouTuber named Cariminati, led to a fierce fan fight on
social media.
Where did it start? What was the struggle?
It all started with TikToker Amir Siddiqui, who uploaded
a video earlier this month, however, soon removed it after realizing that it
was spreading erratic negativity.
This is not the first time TikTok received all the hate
due to its cringe content. Before this nuisance, many people have talked about
Tiktok cringe content on social media platforms over the years. YouTubers such
as Elvis Yadav, Simon Sage, Thagesh, Ducky Bhai, and others I know.
In response to some YouTube roast videos on the tingling
TikTokers, TikTok user Amir Siddiqui posted an IGTV call to YouTubers and
talked about the TikTok community and compared the two platforms.
He highlighted the unity of the TikTok community in the
video, threatened YouTubers for copyrighting TikTok content and tried to
incite YouTube creators to respond by tagging them in IGTV posts.
He mentioned that calling his Ticktok content cringe
translates to cringe content 100 times when used on YouTube which sounds stupid
and makes no sense. Talking about TikTokers, he said that you upload 10 videos
a day to YouTubers and TikTokers while uploading 3 videos according to you is
better than that of YouTubers and TikTokers.
'YouTube vs Ticketok - End' video made a big impact
In response to the IGTV video, Cariminati, a YouTuber
known for raining multiple shows and celebrities, roasted Tikokar Amir Siddiqui
on his permission. With a subscriber base of over 18 million, Ajay Nagar A.K.A
CarryMinati is one of the most popular YouTubers in India. He has roasted many
shows including Bigg Boss and has also cashed in before about TikTok's cringe
content.
Amir Siddiqui, a self-proclaimed social media influencer
in the Tiktok community with more than 3.8 million followers, challenged
Cariminati to roast him, mentioning that it would be a beautiful opportunity to
roast with Cariminati, I will be happy.
That being said, a video called YouTube vs TikTok - The
End video went viral on YouTube and social media platforms, in which
CarryMinati speaks about the TikTok app and Aamir Siddiqui.
In his response, he redeemed Amir Siddiqui's video
line-by-line from his grammar slip-up, using irrelevant hashtags for
engagement, to garner sympathy through his videos, each line featuring Aamir's
many Were indicated with faults.
In the video, Cariminati reported that Tiktokar competes
video count by posting several 15-second videos, even though they have the
option to make 1-minute videos. This is when Siddiqui alleges that YouTubers
run for ideas and do not like how TicketRocker creates content when it comes to
numbers.
The record-breaking video was reportedly viewed over 70
million times in a few days and received over 10 million likes. For the first
time in history, a non-music video was widely viewed on YouTube and received
such views. After the video went viral, the channel took more than double the
existing subscribers.
The video was later removed from YouTube for violating
its TOS. It seems that YouTube was eventually forced to take the video due to a
mass report. The exact cause was not mentioned, it could be due to homophobic
slurs or online abuse on the ground of harassment and lower communities such as
LGBTQ.
Just after the deleted video, a new video by CarryMinati
titled ‘STOP MAKING ASSUMPTIONS | YOUTUBE VS TIK TOK: END T has received around
48 million views so far. He wants which parts of the video have violated the
TOS and removed it, he told people to stop making assumptions. The 20-year-old
insisted that his comments were lost in translation and out of context.
CarryMinati tweeted in response to the deleted YouTube
video.
Deleting the video not only created a huge impact on the
fan base but it also badly affected Tickcock's Google Play Store ratings. A few
minutes after CarryMinati's YouTube video was removed, an inferno began to
spread throughout the internet in support of CarryMinati.
A hashtag #justiceforcarry is trending on Twitter to
support CarryMinati. Fans showed dissatisfaction over the action, with many
users claiming to have removed the app, even many YouTube users on the YouTube
handle of some popular TickTalk stars in an attempt to turn it into the most
disliked video on video-sharing Has marked a dislike. Forum.
Celebrities like Ashish Chanchalani and Himansh Kohli
posted on Twitter with the hashtag in favor of CarryMinati. A popular Tech
YouTuber, Technical Guruji, made a video without vocals, removing the TikTok
app from all of their phones to support YouTube creators.
Tiktok in Big Trouble - Trends related to Tik Tikok on social media
TikTok has much weaker content moderation policies that
can share harmful and abusive videos. A large number of Indian users are
demanding a ban on social media by trending the hashtags #TikTokBan and
#TikTokExposed. This happened when a video made by Faizal Siddiqui (Aamir
Siddiqui's brother) with a fan following of over 13.4 million, amid Fasco, was
accusing him of glorifying acid attacks on women in a Ticketcock video.
The NCW (National Commission for Women) later targeted
Tiktok for the ban as it promoted several videos of women who eventually
misbehave after banning the app from the country. NCW said that the app is
pushing the youth towards unproductive life where they are living for only a few
followers.
NCW's attention was drawn to the video where a man was
seen throwing acid on a girl. Many videos will soon be promoted by other
TikTokers. If not stopped, soon there will be hundreds of videos with abusive
content including domestic exploitation, molestation, rape protests.
National Women's Commission (NCW) chief Rekha Sharma said in a tweet,
TikTok has suspended Faizal Siddiqui's account after one
of his videos faced heavy criticism. Both incidents also gave way to the
Twitter hashtag trend #TikTokBan, with people advising others to boycott the
Chinese app.
Faizal Siddiqui defended the video and indicated that it
had been misrepresented, but later apologized. He said, "As a social media
influencer, I realize my responsibility and apologize to anyone who was
offended by the video."
Let's see where it ends!
