Design & Build Quality
OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z Like its previous generation, the Bullets Wireless 2 is built quite well. The BW2 had a seashell-inspired stainless metal design. The BWZ Seashell favors a lightweight plastic material while retaining the design. The BWZ's neckband resembles the BW1, which had a lighter material and a more chunky look. The BW2 was a sleek-looking neckband with heavy material. The volume control column resembles the first BW. The buttons on it are not super touch, but work immediately and fine. There are three common buttons on the left wire with microphone. A separate switching / power button is also placed separately. The quick switching mode is fairly easy, double-tap which allows the device to switch from one to the other. We tested on our laptop and smartphone and worked flawlessly. The Bullets Wireless Z is supposedly the lightest at 28g, which is significantly lighter, and you'll barely feel the weight. It comes in three colors, Black, Blue and Ott.

Battery Backup

One of the strong points of the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z is the battery life. The company has claimed WARP charge support which gives 20 hours of battery life on full charge and 10 minutes of charging gives 10 hours of battery life. We tested battery life, and we could easily get up to 18 hours on battery life. If you are a moderate user, this earphone can easily last up to a week. We did a claimed 10 minute charging test (with a 20W dash charger). Surprisingly, we took 6-7 hours of battery life. The BW1 has up to 8hrs, the BW2 has 14hrs and now the BWZ has a battery life of 20hrs. The magnetic control feature helps to save battery by disconnecting earphones when not in use. Finally, the earphones take about half an hour to fully charge.

Sound Quality and Microphone

OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z offers excellent sound quality for the price. Highs and mids are fairly well balanced; Anyone can easily penetrate devices. However, although the BWZ has 9.2 mm dynamic drivers, the bass was not up to the mark. If you love bass, you can always change the settings in an aquailer. It lacks the Qualcomm AptX feature but has support for the HD AAC codec that it covers. Coming into the microphone, it also worked fine. We made a lot of calls through BWZ, the person talking never complained of voice cracking. The microphone can also be used to easily call Google Assistant. Finally, to connect Bluetooth v5, it moved freely around the connected device in a distance of 10 meters.

Is it good for gym use?

The OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z has an official IP55 rating for resistance to sweat and water. We did a test by sprinkling some water, and it survived. Also, while exercising these earphones, exercise also prevents sweat. The ear fitting was large and comfortable. It did not fall into running or any other activities. Depending on the size of the ear, three sizes are available; You can choose what you like best.

Is it good to watch videos and play games?

OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z has a special low latency mode. Using these earphones, we watched NETFLIX shows and lots of heavy music based videos, and in our testing, we did not find any latency issues. We also tested this by playing action games like Free fire, Call of Duty & PUBG and we did not find any sound lag in the same results.

OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z on Realme Wireless Buds?

When comparing both earphones, the OnePlus Bullets is a complete package with wireless Z, USB Type-C, fast charging and IP rating. However, the REALME buds have good bass compared to the Bullets Wireless Z, and the overall sound quality is much higher. However, for bass, I would suggest Realme wireless buds. However, the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z has better build, premium design, fast charging and Type C port.
