Xiaomi is finally launching the laptop in India, Indian fans of the company have long waited for its MacBook-inspired machines, which have received fairly favorable reviews worldwide.

Now, Xiaomi has confirmed that it will launch a new Mi-laptop in India on June 11, which will be next week. And when we anticipated the company bringing the Mi Notebook Pro or Mi Notebook Air to India, it seems that this is a rebranded RedmiBook 13 that will be in store for us. However, it will not feature Redmi branding (as should be clear from all teasers) and sits under the Mi portfolio.

Not long ago, Manu Kumar Jain took to Twitter to end our anticipation. He confirmed that the Mi Notebook is launching in India on 11 June.

This tweet further states that the Mi NoteBook to be launched in India will be "India 1st, India Exclusive and Made for India". This will be the global debut of this new version, meaning it can make its way into other markets as well.

The leakers claimed that the company would launch an Intel Core i7-powered RedmiBook 13 in India. However, Xiaomi's latest announcement suggests that it will be a new machine, which will be specially designed for the Indian market.

The laptop will have a 13-inch full-HD bezel-less panel, up to a Core i7 processor, up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of SSD storage. You will also get 2GB Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics memory on board.

Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain has already launched 1C fast charging support for upcoming laptops on Twitter. We expect a slightly modified A-panel (top lid) as well as being in tow. The RedmiBook 13 includes a 40Whr battery with 65W charging support. You'll also find 2 2W speakers and a myriad of ports, including 2x USB 3.1 ports, 1x HDMI and a 3.5mm audio jack onboard.

Xiaomi can store the RedmiBook Ryzen variant, which was launched only last week, to hit the road. It may come as an affordable version of the upcoming Mi laptop. The company has already confirmed that it is targeting professionals and office goers with their laptops and it will not be affordable.

Some Mi laptop models were also recently certified by Bluetooth SIG and many of them, including the Mi Notebook 14 with model number XMA1904, are brand new laptops that do not exist in China. One of these could be the Xiaomi laptop coming to India.

For now, all this is the launch date of India. When you know more about Xiaomi's laptop plan in India, we will update you.
