Samsung
launched the online-only Galaxy M series in India last year to reintroduce its
fluctuating efforts in the budget, in the lower and mid-range segment of the
smartphone market. , Which was a threat of overrun by the devices of Xiaomi and
Realme. Now, Samsung has launched the Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M01 in India. The
Galaxy M11 was launched earlier this year in the UAE, while the Galaxy M01 is a
new addition to the M-series portfolio.

The
Galaxy M01 is one of two new phones. It has a 5.71-inch HD + TFT LCD with a
waterdrop notch and a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio. The Snapdragon 439 chipset, with
3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage runs the show under the hood. It is possible to
expand storage up to 512GB via microSD card.
The
Galaxy M01 has a dual-camera system with a 13MP (f / 2.2) primary sensor and a
2MP (F / 2.4) depth sensor. There is also a 5MP (f / 2.2) selfie camera
onboard.
Finally,
the galaxy M01 has a massive 4,000mAh battery pack and does not support fast
charging. Also, it comes with the older Micro-USB port as opposed to the USB
Type-C port. The Galaxy M01 runs Android 10-based OneUI 2.0 out-of-the-box.

Due
to the budget price, both phones manufacture polycarbonate. The Galaxy M11,
when compared to the aforementioned, boasts a more modern design with a
hole-hole camera cutout at the front. It includes a 6.4-inch HD + IPS TFT
display with 19.5: 9 aspect ratios and 1560 x 720 resolution.
The
Galaxy M11 is powered by Snapdragon 450 chipset, coupled with 4GB of RAM and
64GB of storage. It runs Android 10-based OneUI 2.0 out-of-the-box. You will
also get a 5,000mAh battery pack with 15W fast-charging in this device. It
includes a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and all the required
connectivity features.
In
the optics department, the Galaxy M11 features a triple camera system with 13MP
(f / 1.8) primary sensor, 5MP ultra-wide camera, and 2MP depth sensor. The
punch-hole display cutout includes an 8MP (f / 2.0) selfie camera.
The
Galaxy M01 does not have a fingerprint sensor, which is also disappointing. The
Galaxy M11, on the other hand, manages to capitalize on itself by featuring a
5MP ultra-wide-angle camera, which was not so long ago, an unusual feature at
this price point.
Pricing & Availability
The
Galaxy M01 comes in a single 4GB + 32GB variant priced at Rs. 8,999 in India.
It will be available in three colors - Black, Blue, and Red.
The
Galaxy M11, on the other hand, starts at Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB + 32GB variant.
It allows users to pay Rs. Rs 12,999 for 4GB + 64GB variant. It will be
available in three color variants, namely Black, Metallic Blue, and Violet.
Both
the phones have gone on sale across India through Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung's
online store, and other offline stores from today.
